What is your native language?
Why Test Your Language Level?
Knowing your CEFR level (Common European Framework of Reference for Languages) is a crucial step in your language learning journey. Whether you are preparing for official exams like TOEFL, IELTS, or DELF, applying for international jobs, or simply tracking your progress, understanding your current proficiency—from A1 (Beginner) to C2 (Master)—helps you set realistic goals and choose the right study materials.
How PolyglotLevel Works?
PolyglotLevel uses an intelligent, adaptive testing methodology to estimate your language skills quickly. Unlike traditional fixed tests, our algorithm adjusts the difficulty of the questions in real-time based on your answers. If you answer correctly, the questions get harder; if you struggle, they become easier. This allows us to pinpoint your approximate level in just a few minutes without making you sit through hours of testing.
Supported Languages
We currently support a wide range of global languages to help learners everywhere. You can test your proficiency in:English, Spanish, Mandarin, Hindi, Arabic, Portuguese, Bengali, Russian, Japanese, German, Turkish, French, Italian, Korean, Polish, Dutch, Indonesian, and Vietnamese.
Is this test accurate?
PolyglotLevel is an MVP (Minimum Viable Product) and an estimation tool designed for quick self-assessment. While we strive for accuracy by adhering to CEFR standards, this is not an official certification. For high-stakes requirements like university admission or immigration, we recommend taking an official proctored exam from an accredited institution.
